On Data Reconciliation
For those interested in Data Reconciliation (DR) we offer several documents to download. Basic information can be found in the article "Experience with Plant-wide Data Reconciliation" by František Madron (zipped, 181 kB). More detailed information about DR is available in the report "Balancing and Data Reconciliation Minibook" by Vladimir V. Veverka (zipped, 489 kB). Both documents are written in MS Word 97. Also available is MS PowerPoint presentation "Data Reconciliation: Better Use of Process Data" by František Madron (zipped, 106 kB).
RECON 10
The program aimed at mass and heat balancing with data reconciliation (see details) is available in its restricted form as lite-version. Restrictions applied are moderate and so the lite can be usefull in solving many practical tasks. Click here to download its installation set (zipped, 11,2 MB). The lite is provided with many well-documented examples. You can download also the RECON getting started presentation (3,45 MB) and also the RECON animation (1,69 MB). The other RECON's documentation is available on request.
If you have got the installation set on your PC, you can extract its content. When done, you are ready to start the installation. Please read instructions for the installation in ReconReadMe.txt file and/or click here before starting it! After the installation is completed, you can run the application and use its on-line manual.
Important notes:
Avoid installing the program to a root. Also better avoid installing to the default
folder "Program Files" since some versions of Windows do not allow the program to
create necessary subdirectories there.
If you have RECON installed and want to update it to a later version, you can do it without reinstallation. Click here to download a zip-file with application files updated (3,5 MB). Place this file to a directory where RECON.EXE resides and unzip it.
IBIS 6.0
The program for mass and utilities balancing and yield accounting in process plants (see details) is available in its restricted form as demo-version. Click here to download its installation set (zipped, 9.7 MB). As regards program documentation, you can download its User Manual (zipped, 1.95 MB) .
Also available for downloading is presentation in MS PowerPoint entitled "IBIS: Balancing and Yield Accounting System with Data Reconciliation" (zipped, 106 kB).
